Indeed! It was actually a weird feeling to draw a character you're so used to make all joking and teasingly just pranking most of the time, but then drawing him as this really mean, kinda sadistic evil character. xD
It hurts to see Rainbow Dash cry, truly a powerful image that brings forth pain in our hearts. I may not over react to this as some others might, but that doesn't mean I don't really want to hug Rainbow right now. Hope the story brightens up soon.
You know, at some point you have to ask...what's the point? Because at first it was clever. Then it was sort of taking his character and having him do things that fit his character. Now it's turned into masturbation and it isn't even funny anymore. This is cringe-worthy. It's not fun to watch a character that can't fight back, who's essentially a KID, getting tortured, beaten, insulted and mind-fucked. And this isn't even the first time we've seen it.
So on behalf of everyone who's REAAAALLY tired of the overabundance of "Dark" pony works...stop. Please.
Michael, but you can't force people to stop writing/drawing Dark pony works because you don't like it. No one has the authority to tell people what they can and cannot draw. People are going to keep making it no matter how much you complain, and a lot of people still enjoy it. And actually, I enjoy a lot of mickeymonter's work and I think he's one of my favorite drawers of ponies and the like. What more can anyone here say to you except don't read or look at it?
All this is going to do is send you and others on this page into endless, and ultimately pointless arguments and it's just going to make you more goddamn miserable and moping than you already have been recently.
I have more to say, but I'm not saying it here. I'll continue it on your page.
Yeah, because THAT'S why I read stories. To see people I relate to and admire backstabbing their friends and being idiots and trusting the word of a guy who is the LITERAL PERSONIFICATION OF CHAOS. Discord's shenanigans with Rainbow Dash were almost as much bull as what he did to Fluttershy.
My point was the story that's attempting to be told is a retcon that, frankly, flies in the face of what we, the audience, know about the characters and the story. Bad retcons damage our view of a tale and those within it. Something like this qualifies.
