Even if Golem appears with no lower jaw when he's not roaring or eating, it doesn't mean I can't still try to make him expressive somehow. :XD:
I did this one yesterday, and I really liked how it turned out. Just wanted to share it with you! :)

Actually no, these mutants were originally inspired from Crash of The Titans for Wii. :)

Oh yeh, I can see that now. At first, I saw that top jaw design and linked it to the clowns monster form off madness 6 + 7.

The big guy looks like he has just seen something... Very confusing. Like, I dunno, maybe Spaz riding Barunger and chasing Thorn for a jar of cook-- no, wait. The expression would mostly be "=n= Again" XD
It's interesting to see your mutants looking expressive, different from their "badass-menacing" mode. And considering you would mostly rely on the eyes for the expressions, that would be a damn good exercise: eyes are the key for expressivity. And you're already damn good with that ;p
