Sombra Sombra a a

I need your opinion on something. In my Ace Combat/MLP storyline, "Dragon of Courage", after the Changelings are beaten, the protagonists learn of a new enemy rising up, or rather two old ones: Lord Tirek and Sombra, who are both lieutenants to a much worse, more dangerous villain, one who I have yet to name. Anyway, I have a small idea that I can't decide whether or not to use: I view Sombra as more collected and disciplined than Tirek. Tirek is pure chaos, while Sombra is evil, but represents a sort of dark, twisted kind of order. He has some sort of rules, some kind of middle ground, while Tirek doesn't. So, I believe that Sombra might be capable of defecting and getting reformed by the protagonists in the story. Do you think that's logical? Do you think I should use that?
